Does FEAR Hold You Back?

Ok, back to Financial Freedpm--- If you are like me, it's all you can think about! And it frustrates you that you can't get there fast enough!

But there is one thing holding you back: FEAR

I avoided Real Estate Investing for a long time. I was in debt, afraid of failure, afraid of making mistakes, and, worst of all, afraid to ask for help. 😔 I wasted years not taking action, yet still hoping something would change. 🤦🏼‍♀️What's that quote? "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

Don't waste years of YOUR life like I did!

So I decided one day that that was it! I was going to take action. But first, I had to get past the FEAR. Here are the steps I took to do that:

1. Admit that the Fear exists.

The first step to overcoming a problem is to first admit that a problem exists. Even if this is the only step you take from this email, that is HUGE! You finally will not be ignoring your issue, but acknowledging it. Now, you can open the door to move forward!

2. Learn to make Fear your Friend.

Realize that you’re not alone. And, there is nothing wrong with having this Fear. REPEAT: There is nothing wrong with having this fear. Now, think about what is really the worst outcome possible. What's the worst that can happen? Do you fear not finding that right deal? They are out there. Just waiting for you to find them. Do you Fear that you won't be able to manage tenants? That's okay. 3. Follow the Nike Motto

Just do it. You will never know absolutely everything. And there will always be more decisions to be made. Pros and Cons to weigh. We have such innate abilities and need to trust our Gut more. Sometimes, our brains and ability to over think can actually cloud our judgement. Learn what you need to, make an educated guess, and then, well...jump.
