Have you Ever Heard of This?

My favorite thing about Real Estate Investing is that there is something for everyone! Whether you became an accidental landlord or an intentional one, whether you have a large amount of money in savings or nothing, there is still a way you can be an investor!

The "How" is the key!

With so many options out there, we need to be able to decipher the right path for us. But, to start, we need to know what those options even are! Luckily, I had the pleasure of speaking to some of our very own Lady Landlords about the projects they are working on!

And you impress me!

The amount of creative solutions and unique ideas that have come out of this group is astonishing to me! In this week's episode on the Lady Landlords Podcast, I share how our member Evangelia is using Glamping to grow her portfolio! Glamping you say? What is that? Glamping is a short term rental of a glamourous camping!

Here are highlights from this week's episode:

1. Start with your Passion.

In order to be successful in almost anything, it has to be something that excites you, that truly lights you up! This enjoyment will help you through the rough times. When things get tough or hard, remembering that this is something you actually chose to do because you like it, will help. There are so many niches out there from flipping to landlording to glamping that there is something for everyone!

2. Use Partnerships...properly.

Working with a partner is a personal and financial decision that is yours to make. We each need to evaluate our goals and sometimes partners fit into our plans, and sometimes they don't. And that is okay too. We need to do what is best for our own business rather than always being people pleasers. But, if you do decide to go the partnership route, my advice is to clearly identify roles and responsibilities. You might also want to consult your local attorney to draw up an agreement as well.

3. Ready, Set....Fire

This was my favorite phrase that Evangelia said during her interview about glamping. We can spend all the time in the world making plans, but taking action is where things really count. It is this step that really separates the wanna-be investor from the real estate investor. If you have been toying with the idea of starting or getting your next rental, use this episode as your inspiration to do so today!
