And we have hit the ground running!
This past week, I was able to view an amazing off-market property, a cash flowing property from the MLS (even in NY!) and evaluated another Short term rental! Most importantly, I filled my only vacancy after having more interest than I have seen before! I'm looking forward to getting my next offer in and picking up a new rental property!
And this could be your weekly routine too!
In this week's episode of the Lady Landlords Podcast, I interview one of my mentees, Krista. She shares how she felt before we started working together. She had been learning different strategies and evaluating which way to go, but there was just so much getting in her way that her judgement and trust in herself started to get in the way.
She had the knowledge, but just needed the support, accountability, and a second set of eyes to take the right steps.
Does that sound like you too?
If so, here are a few things that helped Krista that can help you too!
1. Talk to Experts.
Real Estate Investing is a team sport and you need at least one person on your side that you can talk through things with. Sometimes, we get caught up going down one path and we don't see all the options that are actually in front of us. Heading down the wrong path can cost us time and money which can be deal killers in REI. It's important to find people that have "been there, done that" to help guide you along and make sure you stay the course.
Want to start investing but not sure where to begin? Join our Beginner’s Group Coaching here to get the answer to that question.
2. Take Decisive Action.
When you see the opportunity you have been waiting for, take it. Trust in yourself that you have put in the work to get the knowledge that you need and, therefore, are making the right move. The #1 reason why people don't ever become Real Estate Investors is due to Analysis Paralysis. Don't let this happen to you!! If you don't know something, ask. If you need help, get it. If you are worried, find the info you need to calm your fears. But, there is a solution to all your problems. Stop making excuses, start making money.
3. Make Moves.
Get outside your comfort zone. If 2020 taught me anything, it was that we cannot be a one trick pony. We need to be constantly learning, strategizing, and taking action to be successful in this game. With the way the market looks right now, and what I predicted for this year (Listen here if you missed my 2022 predictions), having the most amount of tools in your toolbox will help you along the way. We need to be able to change with the times and the deals we are coming across to be able to reach our goals.
